Abused puppy finds new home

a puppy who had its ears cropped–likely with scissors —has been adopted. a lot of people have been following the story about “baby” the pitbull. her life started out pretty rough—but tonight is home with a loving new family. “ohhhhhhh!” we were right there as baby was turned over to her brand new family today. and from the looks of things the three will get along just fine. “oh baby you got a new home.” since the puppy’s rescue hundreds of people called to adopt her. “i’m so happy it was meant to be. i saw her face in the newspaper and i just couldn’t stop thinking about her. filled out the application and here we are. she’ll be a nice addition to our family. yea.” just days ago baby was found with its ears mutilated. barbara and james say baby is now in good hands. “she deserves a break. she’s had a rough start. so she’s going to have a good life.” the puppy will have a few friends to play with at home. including two cats, some chickens and a turtle. “we had a pitbull. she was 11 and a half. and she died in may of lung cancer.” baby likes to chew–like many puppies do–so she has some new chew toys at home. plenty of puppy food. but there’s no bed for baby quite yet. “my wife says well we don’t need to worry about that for a little while because she’s going to be in between us for a while. so i don’t think she’s going to need a bed tonight. no.” today police announced the arrest of a suspect in the case, peter barraza junior…he’s being charged with extreme cruelty …
