Music video of “Dig It” by Skinny Puppy. Did you know this music video was banned from Muchmusic because of a rumor stating there is a snuff film in the background? The rumor has never been confirmed… And now, for the first time in years, the rare Dig it record is back in print, as with 4 other rare Skinny Puppy records, now on Amazon at a super low price: bit.ly Distrubted in the US by UMG.

lol even though im a huge fan of NIN (89-05) i will have no problem admitting he is a rip off of PIG and SP.
wow you posted this on my 17th birthday! awesome…
Wasn’t this made by Stephen Jones of Severed Heads?
the fact this video can still get banned is fucking HARD
The video reminds me alot ot NIN’s “Down in It” video with the frame of the widescreen also having a video going on.
@thechubbsy cabaret voltaire is a huge influence for example
theres a difference between influence and copying rhythm and style that is what trent did
@Aspenly those bands, and the bands before them, and before them.
All industrial bands get ideas from other bands. It’s how they make it their own that counts. Genesis P-Orridge from Throbbing Gristle and Psychic T.V. really gave Skinny Puppy a lot of ideas, but I’m not complaining, because Skinny puppy made it their own. You elitists think that you know more about music just because you know the bands that influenced Nin, but what you don’t realize is that you are involving yourself in an endless argument. There are countless musical acts that influenced
i can dig it…my grave that is.lol
I stopped reading Blender when they trashed SP…
I knew a couple guys from a band that sued trent resnor and marlyn manson for copyright infringment. It was back in the early 90′s and the band that was Vanguard outta wellington oh. I didnt belive it till I seen the document’s. And a whole bunch of people confirmed it.
@chasethecolors you’re absolutely right, I love both of them. I think that NIN’s terrible lie mightve also been influenced by skinny puppy… NIN’s early mud-drenched concerts were also Skinny-Puppy influenced…
@TheBlkmage211 lolz i just checked it out and ur totally right
@syfactor26
@korky94 heh.. you must have trouble reading, so try extra hard here, ok? I said he never created anything NEW. Of course, if you lack exposure to the bands that he stole all his material from then you might think he was a creative visionary. To those that know, or were in those bands, he is a tired copycat.
NIN for ever
@Aspenly
Reznor never created anything? ROFL
he banged your gf didnt he?
@chasethecolors
yes its true. Reznor did admit to this…
@NextGenNoobs Thanks
@theeldergoth your name=WIN, Legend is your status
the intro sounds like rude boy by rihanna
@syfactor26 so tell me.. why do you call him a mastermind? Trent certainly didn’t create anything new. He just stole from other more talented artists.
Theres not really any point in discussing this however. It’s up to you to grow past the NIN crap and find the better, non-mainstream music out there. Nothing I say will convince you to do that.
I do applaud you for taking a step in the right direction and listening to Skinny Puppy. Definitly one of the best, most compelling groups in the world.
I love fuckn Skinny Puppy…
@Aspenly
NIN is one of the most influencail bands out still
nin & skinny puppy r great
Trent is a mastermind
