   Yes, I agree re babies in shelters, not getting homes and being euthanized. All of my current animals are rescues: 2 doxies, 3 cats, and 1 parakeet. This little dog belongs to my nieces/nephew who are ages 4-8. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to nurture & care for an animal and, in so doing, to learn the responsibilities — one would hope — of caring for another being. How excited I am for them! (Puppy, however, did not come from a professional breeder.) Thanks for your comments.

   Very very cute. All dogs need great homes. Makes me a bit sad for all the babies in shelters not getting great homes. But glad for this pup and his guardians
