   schnauzers began in Germany where they catch rats on ships so give it like a cat toy those rats that runs around or like a toy squirrel that squeaks

   they are the best dogs ever! wen my mini schnauzer was 4 months old he already knew:
   sit,stay,high five,roll over,play dead,beg,jump, and both paws up~natalie~

   Schnauzers are incredibly intelligent and high-energy dogs. Simply throwing things for them to chase will get them bored fast. Teach them how to run and catch things you throw for them and interact more when you play.
